This is a verse of the song ‘Twenty Years’ by Augustana. It’s such a beautiful song, the last few days I just can’t stop listening to it. The funny thing is, on the first of August of this year, I turned twenty. Haha! (The band is called Augustana, the song is called Twenty Years.. Get it?)
Anyway, Augustana really is one of my favourite bands. Their 2 albums ‘All The Stars And Boulevards’ and ‘Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt’ really are brutally honest and pure, beautiful and vulnerable. I have known the band for a while now. I discovered this band by watching my favourite TV show: One Tree Hill. Augustana’s first singles ‘Boston’ (a very beautiful song as well!) and 'Stars and Boulevards' appeared in the show. The show’s soundtrack is really amazing. I have discovered a lot of bands that way. But I’ll tell you more about One Tree Hill some other time. :-)
