The last couple of weeks I didn't really find the time to post a blog, even though there were a lot of things I could talk about. So I'll make it up to you now :) here it goes:

Second of all, on the 20th of October I went to see the All-American Rejects in the AB in Brussels. I've been a fan of this band for, let's say, 7 years now, since the moment I heard their single 'Swing Swing'. From then on I bought all their albums. The first time I saw them perform live was at Groezrock 3 years ago, so this was the second time I was going to see them live. I enjoyed every minute of it, they played all my favorite songs. And singer Tyson Ritter really (k)impressed me, he isn't really my type, but he does have a lot of sex appeal and he sure knows how to make young girls go crazy. The only thing I didn't like were the outro's of some songs. they just kept going... and going... and going... Enough is enough, guys, don't push your luck :) But overall it was great.
And lastly, on Halloween I went to see Bat For Lashes, also in the AB in Brussels. I'm not really a fan of this band; I only knew two of their songs, 'What's a girl to do' and 'Daniel'. At first it was kind of special. On stage, there hung this large banner with a howling wolf under the full moon and when Natasha Khan asked the audience to start howling, it really gave me goose bumps. I usually only go to rock concerts or festivals, but this really was something different. After they played the songs I knew, the band disappeared and Natasha took place behind her piano. All lights went off and there was only one spot left on. Immediately I knew that this was going to be a very beautiful song and indeed, Siren Song was the highlight of the evening. After that, it kind of got boring, but still, I was (k)impressed.
:-)
